Beyond the Valley of Mist is a work of fiction about a prehistoric people’s discovery of fire, and how they came to worship it.
These prehistoric people worshiped fire for thousands of years. In time, they began making human sacrifices to the fire. It became a God to be feared.
Four young people who were to be sacrificed to the Fire God endured nightmarish hardships to find their way through the terrible Valley of Mist.
After they have escaped to a bright new land, they find the courage to return to the Temple of Fire to overcome the oppressive Fire God. They lead their people through their religious valley of mist, so they, too, might know a brighter future.
